This is not a password vault. Keep passwords in your password manager and turn on its emergency access. The Vault records where that manager’s emergency kit is, which safe holds the phone passcode and which lawyer holds the envelope, so the business surviving or not changes nothing for your family. Anything that looks like a password is rejected on save.

Adding and editing

Add entry (top right) or Add the first entry on the empty page opens the dialog. Each row’s menu offers Edit and Remove. Changes show in the table with an Updated date.

The password manager

Where its printed emergency kit is, and who holds the key to wherever that is. Link it to the manager’s own account in the inventory.

The devices

The phone passcode and laptop password. The authenticator app on the phone is usually the second factor for the bank and the tax account, so this entry unlocks those too.

The paper

The original will, the deeds, the insurance schedule. Where the packet is and what it is filed under.
The Vault’s contents appear in the Vault access instructions section of the Executor Kit, which is what actually gets printed; the Vault table is the working list, the kit section is the prose your executor reads.
